Los Angeles Test Screening

Just over one year ago, United Methodist minister Frank Schaefer was defrocked and kicked out of his church after it was discovered that he performed his son's same-sex wedding. Since then, director Scott Sheppard and producer Kate Logan have been following Rev. Schaefer's story and the ongoing debates and divisions within the United Methodist Church around LGBTQ inclusion. We held our first test screening at the Renberg Theatre in Los Angeles on February 3rd. We have more work to do before the film is finished, but we're very excited about the positive feedback we got from this initial viewing.
